We finally got someone on the phone who actually gives a rat's behind who had us do all kinds of changes and other tests to try to diagnose the problem (and also apologized profusely for how useless her coworkers have been over the last several weeks), ultimately leading to the conclusion that yes, we do actually need a tech to come out. Tech #1 wanted to be helpful, but was unable to do anything and said all the physical lines checked out, and all his diagnostics came back good. A second tech was sent out after it was clear we still had the issue, and while he was still more helpful than the first, the problem persists. While he was on the phone with his manager about it, we overheard some stuff we probably weren't supposed to hear, and it sounds like there's been a lot of problems at the hub, so our issue is likely tied to that. We proved while he was here that all of our equipment checks out (shout out to our neighbors for giving us their wifi password and letting us use their internet to run tests), so now it's gone further up the chain. We are supposed to get a visit from the next level of tech up sometime this week.
So, what does all of this mean? Unfortunately it means I can't stream until it's resolved. I simply cannot hold a connection long enough to have anything that's even a passable quality, much less a good stream. While we wait for a miracle to happen, I'll be recording content and trying to get that uploaded to YouTube on a regular basis to serve as a replacement. Patreon backers will get ad-free access for 24 hours before it goes live for everyone. First up will be Road to Ballhalla!
I will update you all as soon as I have any news about the return of streams. I'm really upset that I can't stream right now and have no timetable for when I'll be able to go back to it, but there's nothing else we can do right now. I appreciate all of your support and patience while I try to work through it! Hopefully the videos will be enough to tide you over :)
